SoftBank has launched a new service in Japan called “Daredemo AI” (だれでもAI) — a platform designed to make popular AI experiences accessible to everyone through simple, guided interactions.
Picsart is integrated into Daredemo AI as a core partner, powering creative AI experiences.
Through a guided, step-by-step experience, users can easily create and transform visual content without needing prompts or technical knowledge.
Eligible users can also access a 30-day free experience of Picsart when signing up through Daredemo AI.
What makes this launch stand out is how it simplifies the AI experience.
Instead of learning tools or writing prompts, users simply choose what they want to create, follow the guidance, and get high-quality results in seconds.
What is “Daredemo AI”
Daredemo AI is a web service that helps people experience “trending” AI services without having to learn the usual setup steps. The idea is that users can follow guided flows, instead of starting from a blank screen and guessing what to type.
SoftBank also introduces an original character, AICE, to explain the value of each AI service in a friendly way and help users get started.
The service includes a set of partner AI offerings across different categories, and SoftBank customers (SoftBank, Y!mobile, and LINEMO) can access service-specific benefits when subscribing through the hub.
What you can do with Picsart in Daredemo AI
SoftBank presents Picsart as an AI-powered creative platform — brought to life through interactive “try it now” experiences directly inside Daredemo AI.
At launch, users can:
- Transform photos with new backgrounds
- Create stylized portraits and digital versions of themselves
- Generate unique visuals from scratch
This is not just about discovering what Picsart can do — it’s about experiencing it instantly.
How the Picsart integration is built
Behind the friendly UI, this is a real API integration.
SoftBank integrated Picsart’s creative capabilities directly into the Daredemo AI experience so the user journey can stay inside SoftBank’s flow while Picsart handles the AI generation and transformation.
At a high level, the integration pattern looks like this:
Guided UI in, creative output out
Daredemo AI is designed around guided choices. That maps cleanly to API-based creative flows because the inputs are structured and intentional. A user selects an image and picks a transformation. The platform turns that selection into an API request.
AI Avatars as a core building block
AI avatars are a core part of the Daredemo AI experience — powered by Picsart.
Users can instantly transform their photos into unique, stylized digital identities without needing to understand prompts or settings. The entire experience is guided, fast, and built for real-world use.
What used to be complex is now just a few taps away.
Asynchronous generation that stays user-friendly
Many generative tasks are not instant. A good consumer experience needs to stay responsive even when generation takes time. The integration is designed so the system can accept a request, process it reliably, and return the final output when ready, without forcing the user to sit through timeouts.
Results designed for sharing and reuse
A practical detail that matters at scale is how outputs are delivered. API-based creative platforms typically return results in forms that are easy to display, share, or route into other flows. That makes it much easier for a hub experience to show a preview, let the user save it, and then guide them to the next step.
Why this launch matters
SoftBank is building a low-friction way for people to discover and try AI services in daily life. Being part of that experience is meaningful for Picsart because it aligns with what we are trying to do globally.
Make creativity and creative AI more accessible.
Not as a “developer-only” tool.
Not as something you need to study first.
As something you can simply use.
A note from Picsart leadership
At Picsart, we’ve always believed that creativity is universal. Seeing our AI technology integrated into SoftBank’s ‘Daredemo AI’ is a major milestone for us.
SoftBank’s scale and reach, combined with our generative AI capabilities, create a powerful opportunity to bring creative tools to a much broader audience.
This partnership goes beyond technology — it reflects a shared commitment to the Japanese market. Together, we aim to expand access to world-class AI and support a new generation of creators, from everyday users to professionals.
We’re excited to be part of this journey and to help shape the future of AI-powered creativity in Japan.
